“Ann Shen is a summer intern in the NIH SIP program. She is currently pursuing a B.S. in biomedical engineering at Case Western Reserve University. At school, she works in Dr. Adam Burgener’s lab and is learning how to analyze host and bacterial microbiomes. She is also in Dr. Xinghong Dai’s lab, building a strong benchwork foudation to eventually launch a project studying HBVs. At the NIH, she is working to create EV-A71 clones and replicons with fluorescent reporter genes.”
